Nice to meet you!

March 29, 2018

Hi! There are two very important aspects of my life that I would like to share with you. The first one is that I see myself as a learner and a teacher, all day, all the time. Realizing these two essential roles in my life really changed the way I go about my day because it makes me feel humble and powerful at the same time.  The second thing that I would like you to know is that I am Brazilian and I am so proud of that! I have a beautiful Brazilian accent when I speak in English and I see value in my native language, even when I am learning other languages. I took some time to realize that my native language and culture are my assets, instead of my enemies when learning English. Once I realized that, I could improve my English much more easily.

My learning journey to communicate effectively in English was not easy! To make a long story short, I used to doubt that I could ever feel confident speaking in English until I realized my full potential as a learner and a teacher. I came from hiding in the back seat of my class to becoming a Fulbrighter, an instructor and a success coach in an American university, and a neurolanguage coach® ((registered US and European trademark in the name of Rachel Marie Paling) accredited by the International Coach Federation.

One of my passions in life is to help people achieve their goals. My personal journey has helped my develop my self-confidence and also figure out ways to help people feel confident as well. I am sure I can also help you in your learning journey!
